THUJA occidentalis 'Rheingold'

Like the species. A slow-growing bush of ovoid or conical habit eventually making a large shrub. Foliage mainly adult, a rich deep old-gold, shaded amber. A very popular plant, perhaps the richest piece of radiant old-gold in the garden in the dead of winter. It is an excellent companion to heathers and heaths and contrasts most effectively with darker conifers.
